“ Bar Symon is a casual restaurant and bar that is named after the chef Michael Symon and is located inside the airport. The restaurant's foods include salads, burgers and other sandwiches, fries, etcetera. Please see my attached photos for the menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in November 2023. My husband and I ate breakfast here on a weekday morning while we were waiting for our flight. Our waitress provided us with timely and friendly service. Here are my reviews for our foods: Avocado toast - ~$14 - 4 stars - Two slices of multigrain toast were topped with smashed avocado, sliced tomatoes, sunny-side-up eggs, and sriracha sauce. The ingredients were very fresh, and I enjoyed the flavors. Biscuits and gravy - ~$15 - 3.5 stars - Two buttermilk biscuits were covered with sausage gravy, cheddar cheese, and scallions. On the side were two sunny-side-up eggs and two slices of bacon. My husband said that this meal was alright. Our beverages were water and orange juice. ”

“ Really shocked at the quality of my cob salad from Bar Symon - a typical looking airport bar. Everything was fresh - the avocado, the grilled chicken; the bacon crisp; the dressing quite tasty. My husband got a grilled chicken, avocado sandwich which he said was good. Ambiance is - well, an airport restaurant. Service was good. I'd return if catching a flight and in need of sustenance. ”

“ Fast service, delicious breakfast. Skip the line at McDonald's and CFA. I had an early morning flight and this was one of the very few restaurants open. The breakfast sandwich has scrambled egg, bacon, cheese, and hot sauce and comes with seasoned latkes on the side. It was absolutely delicious. The price is decent for airport food as well. I really couldn't ask for more. ”

“ Dropped by for breakfast before a flight and had great service and meal. Kept it simple with Greek yogurt parfait with granola, fruit and honey. Really good and an easy spot to grab a quick bite. Definitely recommend! ”

“ Always a challenge to find a decent restaurant at the airport, but this place was very good. Service was exceptional and the atmosphere is very nice. The menu is fairly small, but there were good choices. I settled on the Turkey Rachel and was assured it was quality turkey. Our server was right!!! The sandwich arrived hot and was tasty. The ingredients were correctly proportioned. I do think with the price of the sandwich that they could add a side of chips or fries or something. Overall, good stop and I would return. ”

“ Atmosphere - Very Good. This restaurant location in the airport has changed frequently over the years. The layout has not changed. There is a bar on the left and at least 24 four tops. The restaurant is open to the concourse. Service - Very Good. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Food - Very Good. I ordered the Turkey Sandwich. It is a like a panini in that the sourdough bread was grilled and the sandwich heated. The sandwich tasted great. Overall Value - Very Good. The prices are reasonable, especially for an airport restaurant. The food quality and service is great as well. ”

“ I had a short amount of time before my flight and was leery about eating here and catching my flight, but the manager assured me I'd be out in plenty of time, and he kept up with the kitchen and brought out my food as soon as it was done to make sure. This is owned by famous TV Chef Michael Symon and it's not his upscale food, but it's still pretty good. I've eaten here in the past and tried various things and all was good. I think the fries are awesome from what I remember, but it's been a few years. I'm happy the Cleveland native felt comfortable opening a place in Pittsburgh. Don't let that sway you away from eating here. I ordered the pierogi with kielbasa and both were excellent with the sautéed onions and mustard sauce stuff. The price was excellent for the quality and being in an airport and I'd stop in here again for a meal to supplement my Primanti Bros. meal. I eat like every flight I'm on is going to be 10 hours long with no meal service. The Pittsburgh Airport has many options at which to eat, and this one is a solid sit-down option. It may even be faster than Chick-Fil-A which usually has a line. ”

“ This is my favorite breakfast spot in the Pittsburgh airport. The food is great and the service is very fast. I get the eggs and home fries. So good. And the coffee is fresh and they keep it flowing. Highly recommend for breakfast ”

“ Bar Symon was one of the few open restaurants among the small list of eateries that remain open during this minimalist stage at PIT. We had to wait 10 minutes before someone would seat us. There were plenty of open seats and tables. They unfortunately were understaffed as were other businesses inside the airport. The Lola is a burger with thick bacon, sunny side up egg, and patty inside 2 buns. A side of thinly cut fries and a cold Yuengling hit the spot. Service was fine until the end when the server got distracted and forgot to bring a takeout container. ”
